After fitting RC40's to Minis for 8 years I decided it was time for a change. After being impressed with the quality of Maniflow's LCB's I decided to get one of their exhausts. I picked mine up straight from Maniflow up at Mini 40 last year. A friend and I fitted it at the campsite in the evening, absolute doddle to fit, just undo the two bolts on the cat, remove the old exhaust and pop the new one on. All the hangers lined up and it doesn't rattle against the subframe (unlike some RC40's I have fitted)

I've had the exhaust on the car for nearly a year now and its still going strong. The power increase was certainly noticeable and hopefully its contributing to the 11hp gain my Mini has over standard (see bhp plot) I have since bought David Vizard's third edition of Tuning BL's A-series engine where it came 2nd in a flow comparison test. The twin box system (mine single box) flowed 209cfm compared to the RC40's 195cfm. (First was an American "Sonic Turbo" exhaust)

The only bad point about this exhaust is the noise, though pretty quiet to start with its definitely gotten louder. Still even with this I can thoroughly recommend this exhaust and it gets a well deserved ***** rating.
